Uniting for Autism

 COMMUNITY CONNECT

KuraConnect teamed up with ASD Dads NZ for their Run 4 Autism Charity fundraiser. This remarkable event brought together over 1000 whanau from all walks of life, united by a shared commitment to making a difference in the lives of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

At the heart of the fundraiser was a profound mission: to raise crucial funds that would directly support children who face barriers in accessing essential services like speech therapy. For many families, the challenges of navigating wait times, delays in diagnosis, and limited government funding can be overwhelming. The Run 4 Autism Charity fundraiser strives to alleviate these burdens and ensure that every child receives the support they need to thrive.

KuraConnect, brought an extra layer of excitement to the event. With activities like volleyball, turbo touch, and sideline games for whanau to enjoy after their 8k run or walk.

In the spirit of Tikanga and Pasifika values, the fundraiser served as a beacon of hope and solidarity for ASD families. It exemplified the essence of our shared vision – to be innovative and creative in our approach, finding new and engaging ways to support our communities.

As we reflect on the success of this year's fundraiser, we extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who participated, volunteered, and supported this important cause.
